PW855 is a transparent polycarbonate armchair with a rounded backrest, integrated armrests and a one-piece moulded structure. It is supplied fully assembled and can be stacked, making it suitable for dining spaces, hotels, weddings and other events where appearance and practical handling both matter.
For one of our European sourcing projects, this model was selected in two colours: clear and smoky grey. It was purchased together with several other leisure-chair designs from two selected factories and consolidated into one 40HQ shipment.

Clear and Smoky Grey Options
The clear version keeps the surrounding space visually open, while smoky grey gives the same transparent form a darker and more distinctive appearance. These two colours were used in the project shown here.
Other colours may be available, but colour availability and the approved colour standard should be reconfirmed for every order. For a bulk purchase, approval should be based on a physical sample or an agreed colour reference rather than screen images alone.
One-Piece Moulded Construction
PW855 has a one-piece injection-moulded polycarbonate structure, so the seat, backrest, armrests and legs do not require on-site assembly. Its rounded backrest and transparent frame create a recognisable silhouette without adding heavy visual mass to a room or event layout.
The chair can be stacked for handling and storage. Rubber glides at the feet help protect the floor during normal use and movement.
What Buyers Should Check Before Ordering
Transparent moulded chairs require more than a basic model and colour confirmation. Before placing an order, buyers should confirm:
- the approved colour and acceptable colour tolerance;
- overall dimensions, seat height and weight capacity;
- surface expectations for scratches, haze, dark specks and moulding marks;
- chair stability and contact between all feet and the floor;
- the condition and fit of the rubber floor glides;
- stacking performance and whether chairs can be separated without surface damage;
- packing protection, carton strength and shipping marks; and
- any test-report or compliance requirements for the destination market.
Because transparent surfaces make small marks easier to see, the approved sample should also establish the buyer’s cosmetic acceptance standard.
Packing and Shipping Considerations
PW855 is packed four chairs per carton. The carton size is 72 × 55 × 105 cm, or approximately 0.416 m³ per carton. As the chair is supplied fully assembled, it cannot achieve the same packing density as a knock-down model. Stackability, protective wrapping and an efficient carton arrangement therefore become important when planning the shipment.
In a mixed-chair order, packing should be assessed across the complete product combination rather than model by model. The objective is not simply to select the lowest unit price, but to balance product cost, carton volume, protection and container utilisation.
Part of a Multi-Supplier Leisure-Chair Project
PW855 was one of the one-piece chair models included in a real sourcing project for a European buyer. We compared quotations from six factories, approved samples and ultimately purchased different chair groups from two selected suppliers. The goods were delivered to our Ningbo warehouse and consolidated into one 40HQ container.
Using different suppliers allowed the buyer to benefit from each factory’s stronger models without having to coordinate samples, order follow-up, inspections and consolidation separately.
